Minorcan breed horses are part of the values that led to declare the Menorca island Biosphere Reserve.

In order to preserve, improve and promote it, in August 1988 is built the Breeders and Owners Association of Race Horse. Currently has about four hundred members mostly residents on the island of Menorca.

Our philosophy as set out in our statutes, we promote the Minorcan breed horse, organize events, competitions, shows, courses, etc. Our insularity is not a problem; on the contrary, it guarantees purity and genetic singularity, contributing to the diversity of the breed.
